He is a very sweet boy that misses his family and is looking for a family to fill the gaping hole in his heart. A home without rambunctious puppies would be best being that he is a senior and likes to relax more than he likes to play.

Rescue Me ID: 15-05-31-00617Rudy (male)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Puppy

Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

I adopted Rudy in January. Since then my father has had multiple hospitalizations that have had me away from home for more than 4 hours at a time, so I'm not sure he is housetrained. Since my father's health is declining and I anticipate more trips to the hospital I feel this is unfair for Rudy to not get the attention he craves. He is very protective of me. He doesn't bark much at all and knows all of the basic commands. He needs a fenced in back yard where he can spend more time outdoors. He socializes well with the 2 next door neighbor dogs, but through the fence only. Rudy is a super snuggler once he gets his energy out. He is 1 1/2 ... (Read More)years old. I love him and just want him to have a more fulfilled life. (Less)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Kahlua is a mixed breed, possibly also mixed with Sheep dog or chocolate lab. Medium sized 34 lbs. She is a wonderful animal. I only say she does not do well with children is because she does not like being climbed on and I know young kids tend to lay on, and climb all over dogs.

Hello all! I am looking for a home for my late fathers dog Carlisle, He is a CockerDoxie mix. Very cute 13 lbs. He is house trained and crate trained, and is very much a lover boy. He gets along with everyone just fine. He has been my dads companion for the last year and I would keep him but I have 4 dogs already :( Carlisle is very adorable (looks like a mini golden retriever). He has been neutered and has had all vaccines. His DOB Is 06/17/2013, so he will be two this year. He rarely had an accident in the house. And he does great with new people and in public places. He likes kids, but we prefer he got to an adult like he is used to. He ... (Read More)gets along with all of my dogs and my cat, but would love to have all the attention. Please email me if you are interested, would like pictures, or to arrange a meeting, carl has no health issues. We are asking a $250 donation to our family. Please do not judge, my dad did not have any insuraunce or arrangments pre made and we are paying for everything ourselves. Thank you and god bless, (Less)

Kahlua is house-broken and chipped. She is a wonderful, affectionate pet. I am just in a precarious position and unable to have her with me where I am staying, and she cannot stay where she is for much longer. I prefer to have someone interested in fostering her until September, but would be open to adoption provided the situation was right.

Patches is a JRT/doxie mix around 3 years old. He is like most JRTs - full of energy. Yet he also loves to be in your lap. He is trained to pee pads. He is also crate trained. Patches would be a great companion for someone that understands that JRTs must have an outlet for their high energy - yet would love to be your everything!!
