Hi! My boy's name is Buckie. I'm having to move and unable to take him with me. I've tried everything I can to be able to bring him, but I'm unable. Since he is aggressive, I refuse to bring him to a shelter in fear of him being put down. He is a caring and loving boy on his terms. Buckie is obese, and is on a special diet. He is also neutered and is UTD on all vaccines. All that I ask is that is that he goes to a loving home.

I need help finding my baby girl a home! She bit my daughter a few months ago and I don't want to keep her so it doesn't happen again. I had other arrangements for her after it happen but now they aren't working out. I want to make sure she goes to a great forever home that can take care of her. She has a medical condition that I believe is making her more irritable and she's getting older so those things don't mix well with a toddler. Her medical condition has also made her less active. When she over exerts herself it gets worse. I don't have the funds to continue vet visits and medications. She has what is called a reverse sneeze and the ... (Read More)vet gives her a steroid periodically. The last time we went was in April and she had some congestion so they gave her an antibiotic and steroid. They said if it got better while on the medications then we would have to continue with that when it started up. They said if that stopped working we would have to look into x-Rays, more tests, and possibly surgery. As I stated before I do not have the funds for the continued visits and meds so I really don't have it for the other stuff. I feel horrible because I know I should be able to provide for her but I can't and I don't want to have to put her to sleep when there might be someone out there who can care for her. She is housed trained using a doggy door. As long as she has that to go into a fenced in yard to potty, she will use it! Without the doggy door, I've never had luck house training or crate training. If she doesn't have a way to get out when she has to go and is alone in the house, she will go in the house. If you are there when she needs to go she will let you know she needs to go out if she doesn't have a door. Please contact me with more questions if you are able to give my baby a new forever home and take care of her needs! (Less)

At 4 to 5 months old, Ollie is available under our Foster to Adopt Contract as he is not yet old enough to be spayed or rabies vaccinated. Belle is house trained, crate trained and leash trained, spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is fairly low energy and enjoys leisurely walks and snuggling. Our adoption fee is $125 and we do have an application process to insure that the adoption is a good fit for you and for her. Please let us know if you'd like to meet this sweet girl!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Dachshund in Tennessee
Dachshund Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Dachshund is a long, short-legged dog with a temperament similar to that of a terrier. Dachshunds are cheeky, playful, mischievous, and resistant to training or discipline. Dachshunds do well with older children. Dachshunds are well suited to apartment life but need exercise, and it is important that they not be overfed as this breed is prone to weight gain.
