Dachshund & Spaniel Mix ~ Adult ~ Female ~ Small~ located at the Carroll County Humane Society McKenzie, TN (West Tn 731-352-9950) Winnie is the cutest and sweetest and most low maintenance dog in the history of the planet. She is about 5-6 years old based on her teeth and is only 15 pounds. She was surrendered as a stray with 2 super cute little puppies. The puppies have found their homes, so now it is Winnie's turn. She is just adorable and is the ideal dog for someone wanting a couch potato dog who is low energy but high love. Winnie has had a hard life from what we can tell and she deserves to be spoiled and pampered. She is a bit ... (Read More)shy with people she doesn't know, but warms up very quickly with kind words and gentle pets. She has enough spunk to make you giggle, but is a low energy dog. She is in foster care with several other dogs and is great with them. She is housebroken and will be spayed prior to adoption. This is a 'lay at your feet' or 'snuggle on the couch while eating popcorn and watching old movies' kind of dog who will make an ideal pet for a lucky person or family. We are afraid that her age will hurt her chances of finding a home, but please remember that everyone gets older and older dogs deserve to find a forever home just like the young whipper-snappers. Please ask about Winnie today! She is in foster care with Cindy. (Less)

She is a Dachshund/Feist mix who is only a little over 2 years old and currently weighs 35 pounds, a little over weight but we're working on that. Belle is house trained, crate trained and leash trained, spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is fairly low energy and enjoys leisurely walks and snuggling. Our adoption fee is $125 and we do have an application process to insure that the adoption is a good fit for you and for her. Please let us know if you'd like to meet this sweet girl!
