Spirit is a male terrier mix possibly Pomeranian/Dachshund mix found as a stray at Lewisdale Trailer park. He is very shy right now and takes some time to get used to strangers so we are very picky on who his adopter will be. You need to take the time to get to know him before he will be ready to go home with anyone. He will let a couple of our volunteers get him out of the kennel but with anyone else he sits at the back and growls. He cannot be adopted by just anyone who walks in unless one of those two volunteers is at the shelter to get him out. Rescue Me ID: 16-06-03-00073Little Mann (male)

Dachshund    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

SFG is pleased to introduce Little Mann (pronounced man). The extra 'n' makes his name more German. His foster Mom started calling him that, and it stuck. Little Mann is a 10-11 yr. old red dachshund who was surrendered because his owner could not attend to his health issues. Those issues have been addressed and he is now a healthy, happy boy who is oozing with personality. He was 4-5 lbs overweight when he was rescued but his foster Mom is helping him regain his appropriate figure. He likes carrots in between meals. He loves playing with his foster brother and they also sleep together in his crate. Little Mann also loves laps and would ... (Read More)prefer sitting in one when he's not playing with is foster brother. He is also very agile as he surprisingly jumped in his foster Moms lap. Since that activity is not good for a doxie back, she makes sure he doesn't do that anymore. There are no children in his foster home so we don't know if he does well with children. He wants to chase the cat, but when he gets to her, he just sniffs. He also has a slight overbite and no bottom teeth between his canines, so his tongue sticks out slightly. That makes him all that much cuter! Little Mann is ready for adoption into a family that will love him forever. If you are interested in adopting Little Mann please go to our website and complete an application. (Less)

Hi my name is Skipper. I am a 1 year old Chi/Weenie mix. I weigh about 8 pounds and I am full grown. I am not your normal little dog, I do not have the typical little dog attitude.
