Rescue Me ID: 18-04-26-00104Sally (female)

Dachshund    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Do you have a dog on your Bitmoji tee? Wait, you love 'This is Us' too?! Well then, let's talk!! You see, I am interviewing for a forever family. I mean, don't get me wrong. These foster folks are real nice, but I am facing some serious issues here. First and foremost, I am sharing the love with other dogs. And, while I like them fine that means there are times I am (shudder) LAPLESS! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I have just a few teensy requirements including endless love, abundant toys and a fenced-in yard. You see, I became lost in my last life chapter, and when I find my home, I intend to stay put for GOOD!! Sally was unclaimed from a rural ... (Read More)shelter in southern MS. Vets approximate her age in the 4-5 year old range. She is a lovely black and tan dapple (12 lbs) and she is full of typical Dachshund spirit. She is always up for a romp in the yard, or, equally content reading with you on the sofa snuggled in a blanket. She gets along well with the 3 foster dogs of various sizes in her foster home and would love a canine sibling. She is housetrained in her foster home, but her foster mom is home most of the day. Like any small dog, she would need to go out every 4-6 hours. We do not have any history on Sally's compatibility with small children or cats. NOTE: Sally is being fostered in Madison, MISSISSIPPI. Suggested adoption donation for Sally is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-03-29-00391Farrah (female)

Dachshund    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Farrah is a stunning 4 year old long hair black and cream dachshund. She is quickly learning that life outside the commercial breeding facility is fantastic! She enjoys spending time outside, hanging out with her foster sisters and cuddling with her foster mom. When she gets excited, she not only wags her tail, she wags her whole body! Farrah still struggles a bit sometimes with mill issues, such as walking through doorways, but is quickly adapting to living in a home. She is currently working on potty training and crate training. She will need a resident dog to help show her the ropes and a securely fenced yard. Suggested adoption ...
