    Maynard is a 3-4 year old bouncy and puppyish chihuahua dachshund blend that came to us from a rescue in California. He only weighs around 8 lbs and at a healthy weight will probably be around 10. He came to us quite skinny but is doing very well gaining the weight back. Maynard is a happy go lucky little guy that loves everyone that he meets.     Spike is 7 years old, neutered male, Vaccinated and micro-chipped. He is very timid and fearful and he will bite when he is scared, would need a Quiet adult home, he doesn't do well around kids. He is a sweet little boy once he gets to know you, he is excellent around other dogs and he loves to sleep in a bed under the blankets and he LOVES to play ball.

    Dachshund Dogs can make good pets in Montana if they match your IifestyIe. The Dachshund is a long, short-legged dog with a temperament similar to that of a terrier. Dachshunds are cheeky, playful, mischievous, and resistant to training or discipline. Dachshunds do well with older children. Dachshunds are well suited to apartment life but need exercise, and it is important that they not be overfed as this breed is prone to weight gain.
