Its with a heavy heart that I post this. My beautiful dachshund needs a good home. I would never rehome her but I'm having a life change and she isn't handling it well. She 6 years old utd on all shots and house trained. We have 2 dogs. We are ending our relationship and he's taking his dog. We have found that she has anxiety if left alone. We need a home with another dog and or someone that's home a lot. I can't stand to see her hurting and I work a lot which leaves her home alone a lot and makes her upset and she cries when alone. If another dogs around she's fine. She will come with 2 collars that were $45 each a leash although she walks ... (Read More)perfectly without a leash. New bag of Origen food. Shirts dresses jackets rain coat and jewelry. As you see she's spoiled and never a thought of her not being my family. Small 200 rehome fee applies--I feel more important finding her a good home-so don't let the fee change your mind please. I need to know she's okay so please send details about yourself, home, and situation. I will be picky as this is for her best interest (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-03-29-00381QT (male)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

QT is a 4 year old Chihuahua mix, possibly with a Dachshund. He weighs about 8 pounds. He likes dogs, cats & is curious about humans. QT lived on the streets for months, at least. He had his routine of sleeping at a vacant propoerty & then everyday, heading to a local Quick Trip, crossing busy streets to go get his snacks for the day. At dusk, he would head back to his vacant house to bed down. We are so impressed that this street savvy dog was able to survive, as small as he is. We have seen no signs of aggression but as you can imagine, he is leery of humans because of his survival-mode mentality but he is quickly coming out of that. We ... (Read More)keep a leash on him for when his flight mode kicks in. He is an amazing little guy & he earns lots of laughs with his silly personality in his foster home. QT seems to be potty trained but will need a refresher course in a new home. He also loves his kennel & is learning 'sit' & 'kennel'. A good home for QT would be a home with a dog companion & not a lot of comings & goings with new people as he may find this overwhelming. With him being a flight risk at this point, he will need to stay on a leash & a extra secure fence is a must. He loves his toys, especially things to chew on. His adoption fee is $200 & includes: Neuter, microchip, heartworm test, a fecal test, a wellness exam, a session with our trainer at a discounted rate, & an offer of pet healthcare for 30 days. Interested? Please complete an application at DogsbyDebin.com & we will make arrangements with his foster to have you meet him. Thank you! (Less)
