this poor dog has been mistreated, not fed properly is not timid best with a family who will provide lots love attention i rescued 2 days ago and my 2 other dogs r showing jealousy n i dont want halley to be stressed anymore or my dogs she was not properly cared for, attacked by cats in a home that told me they dont like dogs she is loyal took easily to me n my husband but needs a extra loving home my heart breaks when i saw how this dog had to live no food only cat food and attacked by the cats, owner would spray dog with cleaner if had accident in home but no routine to potty outside Cass County belton, MO MAP IT!

It's so hard to get a good picture of a black dog. Darn it! Casey is a pretty little former breeder. She's a little timid but is coming out of her shell nicely. She is said to be a chihuahua but we think that she's a chiweenie - a chihuahua/dachshund mix. She's pure black with what looks like a white beard. Casey was born on July 4, 2005 so is just about 7 years old and weighs 10 pounds. The adoption fee for Casey is $200. Dachshunds are cheeky, playful, mischievous, and resistant to training or discipline. Dachshunds do well with older children. Dachshunds are well suited to apartment life but need exercise, and it is important that they not be overfed as this breed is prone to weight gain.
