[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] jake weighs appox. 12 lbs has red hair with a lot of white now. I have had him since he was 13 wks old. i am very attached to him, but my husband passed away this past April and my granddaughter was taking care of him until she couldn't any longer, personal reasons. Then my girl friends daughter was taking care of him and now can't because her mother move into her house and she has allergies really bad. So now I have no one else to take care of jake. By the way, i'm in a re-hab facility for a broken femur. I need some one to take care of jake temporarily, until I get out of here

I have had opie for 2 years. He is afraid of men. He can be a very loving dog for the right person he is very intelligent. If you adopt him a local dog trainer has volunteered to donate a free training class. I would not want young childred around opie he will get snappy.

|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-31-00150Reese (female)|
Reese is a 5 year old, basset/doxie mix. She is very cuddly and cute and loves people. She is little on the shy side with other dogs and hides but with time, would get along with another dog in the home. She would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 or in a quiet home. If you are interested in Reese, please fill out an adoption application at www.bhrom.org

these two Dachshunds have been together since the younger one was a pup and that is 9 years. so with that said I do NOT want to separate them. the older larger one is Saddie and she is 15 so it is sad to say she probably only has a few years left. they are great dogs that need someone that isn't gone everyday.

Dachshund Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Dachshund is a long, short-legged dog with a temperament similar to that of a terrier. Dachshunds are cheeky, playful, mischievous, and resistant to training or discipline. Dachshunds do well with older children. Dachshunds are well suited to apartment life but need exercise, and it is important that they not be overfed as this breed is prone to weight gain.
