Rescue Me ID: 16-01-15-00104Honey-Bunny (female)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Name: Honey-Bunny Age: 9 years Breed: Doxy/Terrier Weight: 45 lbs Good with: dogs. Not tested with kids/cats My name is Honey-Bunny and I am a 9 year old Doxy/Terrier mix. Up until now I haven't had the greatest life and I am learning how a dog is supposed to live- happy and safe. My body tells the story of an uncertain past. I have scars all over me, and if you move to fast I run. I like getting pets, but my first instinct tells me to flinch. I am learning more everyday that I am safe and I am happier a little more everyday. I am learning the ins and outs of living inside a home and I am house and crate trained. I LOVE the company of ... (Read More)other dogs and follow their lead. I am very treat motivated!! Although I flinch a lot, I have not once growled or shown any aggression to my humans or canine residents. My foster mom says I'm the easiest dog she's ever had and integrated well with the resident dogs. I'm so quiet and nap a lot that you hardly know I am here! I am now accepting applications for my forever home! I'm an old lady and would love a low key home who will give me lots of love (and treats!) for the rest of my life! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at http://www.survivortails.org/adopt.html or email adoptions@survivortails.org with any questions We can only adopt in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. ***Please note we are constantly processing applications and any animal on this page may have a current pending application. We encourage you to submit an application as the availability status of our animals can change at any time*** (Less)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi! I'm Benny! I'm a young ( approximately 2 year old) tibetan spaniel/ dachshund mix . I weigh 20 lbs. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. I can be a little bit cautious and timid when I first meet you, but once I warm up, I'll be your best friend! I'm a happy little guy that loves to wag my feathery tail all about. I have been very friendly and playful with the dogs I've met in my foster home. My favorite place to relax is in a warm lap. I love my bones and toys a little bit too much, so I would prefer to be with a family that has older, dog savvy children. I am making great progress with house-training. If you are ... We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. (Less)
