Dachshund Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Obese

I havent placed any photos due to the unusual nature of this posting. I had to leave my home suddenly due to domestic violence. I have had the dog since she was 6 weeks old, she is a very loveable dog. she likes to be on your lap 24/7 , you can do anything to her..ie..paint her nails..you name it..she is very agreeable. She was raised on a farm with ducks, chickens, peacocks, goats , geese , guinea fowl and rabbits. She is a great farm dog, If i had a predator problem, I could safely lock her in the barn to babysit the animals. She would swim in the pond with the waterfowl too. She is a great dog, shes clean , she doesnt chew things or any ... (Read More)type of destructive behaviors. But like any dog..the smell of chicken in the rubbish has been known to tempt her lol. It is with great sorrow that I am placing her for adoption.I lived in a house and had to flee. My life and hers has changed so drastically, she is not a dog that is use to spending entire days alone. Shes getting depressed and its heartbreaking. This dog needs a family or farm , with people around. She is not cut out to be cooped up in a tiny apartment while I am forced to work 3 jobs. (Less)

Looking for a new home for Deacon and Maddie. They are from the same litter. They are part Basset Hound and part Dachshund. Maybe some beagle too... not sure. They are 6 years old but still very energetic. They love to be on your lap or bed with you. They are extremely affectionate with their family but they are very territorial towards visitors. Which makes them great guard dogs. They are house trained and crate trained. Looking for a home with a large fenced in yard for them to run and play in. Deacon (the white one) is a male and Maddie (the tan one) is female. Please contact me with any questions.

Dachshund Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

London is a Dachshund/Jack Russel combination. He is a very smart dog and can do numerous tricks. He can be very sweet and obedient is a great lap dog. The issue we have is that he has never taken a liking to our 15 year old son. He continues to growl at him eventhough he has been with us for 3+ years. London likes most people but certain people will set hime off and he will become aggresive. He also likes most dogs but again certain dogs set him off and he can become aggresive. He would do best in a home with no other animals and no children.
