Duncan, 2 month old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. 4 lbs. Neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Adoption fee $200.00 Although Duncan is small, he is unafraid of anything. He blended right into the pack already in residence at his foster's home. His favorite playmates are two Chihuahuas and one Shih Tzu, but he joins with his new Chi brother in cleaning the ears of Henry, the German Shepherd and this produces a smile on Henry's face until it tickles too much. Duncan is smart and figured out the dog door almost immediately and he answers the call enthusiastically when one of the other dogs announces a squirrel spotting. ... (Read More)Because Duncan enjoys the company of other dogs, he would love to be placed in a home with a big brother or sister. Duncan is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his immunizations. Housebreaking training is ongoing. Because he is so tiny, he would do best in a home with older children. (Less)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Shadow belonged to my mother who passed away last July at the age of 88. He was accustomed to a calm, mature owner who doted on him. I have another dog and Shadow has exhibited some bad behaviors due to jealousy issues. I am gone almost 11 hours per day while working and longer on some occasions. He was crate trained but I got rid of the cage. I've had to keep him in the kitchen while I'm at work because he has misbehaved when I'm not home. The picture is from a few years ago. He's put on some pounds and is an agressive eater. Shadow would benefit from a mature owner with no other pets. He is trained and able to behave when he's the ... (Read More)only dog in the house. I am sorry that I can't keep him but he certainly deserves a loving home with someone who can spend more time with him. (Less)
