Dachshund Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Rocco is a very good boy and very affectionate. He gets along very well with my male 9 year old hound mix. Due to my profession, I have unfortunately discovered that I don't have the needed time to commit to caring for Rocco. I have relied heavily on family to assist in his daily care, which is not an ideal situation for him. Very intelligent little guy who ideally needs a fenced yard/wide open spaces to run, and other dogs and/or children to play with. He LOVES attention and baths. I will include his cage free with his adoption to the right person/family. Rocco is micro chipped and neutered.

Dachshund Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Rosie is a ray of sweetness when she trusts you. She is sweet as can be to those she meets slowly and trusts. She is pretty good with women and kids buts may need some time to warm up to people in general. We think she will be ok with anyone that meets her appropriately and takes their time with her. She looks for her favorite care takers and lights up when she sees them. She has lots of love to give. We are thinking she will be okay with older kids that also go slow with her. She is good with other dogs and generally a lot of fund to be around. Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home ...     Fiona Jane was picked up as a pregnant stray, she delivered 5 babies but unfortunately only one little girl survived. She and her surviving baby came to us when they were able to be transported. Fiona is about 10 lbs and approximately 3 yrs old. She loves to be held and cuddled. She is a bit possessive of her squeaky toys so if you have small children she may not be a great match. Once she warms up to you and your family she is a perfect companion. Fiona is house trained and very well behaved... She will bark when someone enters your home but settles quickly. Fiona is up to date on her vaccinations, is microchipped and will be spayed and ... (Read More)have her rabies vaccination before she leaves for her forever home. Her adoption fee is $250. (Less)

Dachshund    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Obese, Aggressive

CJ is a very sweet girl when she gets to know you, but has a tendency to bark and show aggression to strangers. She is currently living with an elderly couple that are starting to have a hard time taking care of. Being an old lady herself, and in need of some extra attention, we feel it is best that CJ finds a new loving home where she can live out her last years being a fun, hip old lady. She is a brown purebred dachshund, 10 years old. She does come with papers that state her exact birthday and lineage. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call.
