Rescue Me ID: 17-04-21-00258Sammia or Moo Moo (female)
Moo should be adopted with her brother Bailey. They've always been together. Moo is tiny but dominates all other dogs. She has been aggressive with two other female doctors we had but never Bailey. She loves to snuggle and be right in your face. She barks. She is long hair black and tan. She is high energy, loves to walk and can jump and dig. She's fun.

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-21-00250Bailey (male)
Bailey should be adopted with his sister Sammia/Moo. They've always been together. He is a beautiful double Chocolate dappled. He takes a while to warm up to people and is very protective. He has allergies and skin irritations. He does best with grain free food. His mother passed away from kidney failure. I had to move and they did not adjust to apartment life. My heart is breaking.

Rescue Me ID: 17-03-08-00603Tinkerbell (female)
Tink (short for Tinkerbell) is a 2-3 year old female chiweenie (miniature dachshund/chihuahua mix). She is a very sweet girl who came to us in very bad shape. After two months of good nutrition and TLC she is ready for her forever home. She is house broken, loves her walks outside, does extremely well on a leash, gets along well with the three large breed dogs she lives with. She is timid around men but loves children. I would recommend older children though. She takes a little while to warm up to you but when she does is the perfect lap dog who loves to snuggle. She requires a special diet and supplements to prevent development of any struvite stones (she had one large one removed with her spay). (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-03-03-00199Doogie (male)
Doogie is a very energetic, loves to play, very affectionate and loves to cuddle but I do not recommend small children. Although Doogie is a very loving dog who loves attention, he likes to jump and bark at small children when they get hyper and run. He deserves to have a good home that he has plenty of room to run and chase squirrels and someone that will love and take care of him. He requires a lot of attention and affection. He enjoys to be around other dogs. He loves to burry himself under blankets. Doogie does tend to go potty in the house, he is also cage trained. Need to find him a great home. I love this dog and care for him deeply, it's just not working out. We have had him for 2 years now. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-03-09-00337Chipper (male)
Chipper: 1 1/2 yr old wire haired dachshund/terrier mix. 12 lbs. Good with other dogs/no kids We believe that Chip would do best in a home with female, who do not have a lot of visitors. Chipper is the epitome of his name; he's feisty, perky and upbeat. He's a little rascal who is the life of the party and can always be found in the midst of his doggy friends, running and gnawing on legs and pulling on tails. He's really a hoot! But he has another facet to his personality ... he's an absolute love bug! Chip delights in being held and cuddled and melts over baby talk. He gives the very best kisses to show how much he appreciates the special attention. Although he relishes his shenanigans with his canine buddies, Chipper would still rather get TLC. He's unique in appearance as well; his little blonde mohawk make him look like a tiny rock star! You can't help but chuckle at him! But he doesn't mind! He does occasionally take a dislike to a person; we haven't figured out yet what bothers him but he barks and doesn't want the individual to handle him. For this reason, we recommend that he not be placed in a home with young children. He would thrive in an environment where he had a playful companion as well as consistent love and affection. Chip's adoption fee is $150; he's microchipped, neutered and current on vaccinations. Due to the high volume of emails received, we recommend you visit our website and fill out an adoption application. This does not obligate you to adopt, it just helps us determine if a certain dog is a good fit for your household. Adoption applications can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Thank you! (Less)

Dachshund Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Dachshund is a long, short-legged dog with a temperament similar to that of a terrier. Dachshunds are cheeky, playful, mischievous, and resistant to training or discipline. Dachshunds do well with older children. Dachshunds are well suited to apartment life but need exercise, and it is important that they not be overfed as this breed is prone to weight gain.
