Dachshund Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I am 17 lbs, 3 years old, good with other dogs & love people! I like kitties, also! Adoption donation: $400 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus & Vectra 3D. All family members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of the adoption. The website www.animalhouseshelter.com is always kept 100% up to date with who is currently available and all new animals (40/week) are added to the site 2 weeks before their availability date to give you time to fill out your adoption application and get the family ready to come out to the shelter that day. As soon ... (Read More)as they are adopted, they are moved to the Adopted Pets page so if they are still listed on the Adoptable Dogs page, they are still available. So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday! I would recommend if you haven't done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt. The adoption counselors will be able to show you many that would be a good fit for your family. We do go in order of when you submitted your application with us. So it is always best that you get your general application for any dog in with us as soon as possible. Here is the link to the Adoption Application: https://www.animalhouseshelter.com/adoption-application/ And here is the link to the How to Adopt page on our website: https://www.animalhouseshelter.com/directions-to-shelter/ As soon as your application comes through to our email we will give you a call and let you know we received it. Some of the dogs were doxy , peke, pug, rat terrier, pom offspring apparently but we honestly do not know. We do know they they were all pretty friendly and sweet, lived with kids and do not seem to be mistreated. They could use a little socializing but that is easy enough. Bree is the only one our of the group that cannot do steps, but she is trying. She ... (Read More)is just a year old and a chubby 13 pounds or so and just as sweet as the day is long.
