Rescue Me ID: 15-03-15-00172Holly Joy (female)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Holly is a very sweet little girl who got lost and whose family never came to claim her from the shelter. She has a wonderful temperament and a bounce in her step. She loves everyone including other dogs and cats. She would probably do fine with children as long as they know how to treat her respectfully. All she wants is a family to love her and let her spend her time with them. Holly is housetrained and will walk on a leash. She would rather be with her people than in a crate but will tolerate a crate if she must. Holly weighs just 12 pounds. She is just waiting for her new family to come and adopt her. If you think that is you, please ... (Read More)email or call about sweet little Holly. (Less) (Less)

Dachshund    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Incontinent

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Ecko has been our family dog since he was a puppy (2007.) In 2010 Ecko had his first back problem(IVDD). We spent time and money by getting him treated with acupuncture, chiropractic care and pain meds. He regained function of his legs and was able to walk again. Unfortunately he lost bladder control and I had to catheterize him until he was able to walk again. From that he lost control of his bladder and is incontinent. In 2012 Eckos back went again and we treated him the same manner as before and in a few weeks he was back to normal. We now have a toddler and it is getting harder to handle him with his ... Ecko is a great loving dog who needs a family that can devote the time to dealing with a dog with incontinence issues. He will go out but still has frequent accidents. Help! (Less)

HAPPY is a wonderful small standard dachshund who is looking for a home where he can be a companion to a family. Happy gets along with everyone, his tail is always wagging. He has the absolute best temperament and is an easygoing fellow. He is always ready to go along.....outside, to the kitchen (he loves his food!), or to sit on the sofa and watch TV with the family. He is fine with children and adults alike and also gets along with other small dogs. If you are looking for a great companion, inquire about HAPPY!

Dachshund    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Vaccinations Current

Jillian is a sweet girl who is looking for a quiet home of her own. She is used to being an only dog living with a retired person and though she gets along with other small dogs, she is a little intimidated by dominant dogs and would prefer to be an only dog again. Jillian is housetrained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She has been on a diet and is looking more trim than in this photo. She would love to be your friend and spend quiet times with you. Please write and ask about Jillian.
