Dachshund Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

The many faces of little Ricky are just as cute as his spunky little personality. We call Ricky a 'puggledash' because he appears to be a cross between a pug and a dachshund. He is a 12-pound young adult approx. 2 years old. Ricky loves to run and play with other dogs and is a super-friendly little guy to everyone he meets. Just don't ask him to be friends with cats. He doesn't try to hurt cats, but feels the best place for them is up in the trees. Ricky, who is great on a leash and loves to go for walks, is completely vetted including heartworm preventative, neutering, and all vaccinations. He is available for our usual adoption fee of ...     Bo is very low maintenance, doesn't jump on people, great with people, especially children. If the door is left open, though, he'll dart! He's house-trained, but he needs a place to run free. Our family is growing, and we just can't afford him anymore.

lnteresting Dachshund Trivia Low-Cost Arkansas Spay & Neuter Clinics
Dachshunds are good travel companions. Dachshunds are named for Dachs, the German term for Badger, which these dogs were bred to hunt. The short legs of a Dachshund are well suited for digging and getting inside badger burrows. Dachshunds are often referred to as wiener dogs because of their shape.
