|Rescue Me ID: 15-01-13-00491BELLA (female)|
I found Bella abandoned on the Highway a couple of months ago. We tried re-homing her before but the people worked a lot and Bella was just not happy so we took her back. We already have 2 other dogs and having 3 is just too many. Bella DOES want and need a LOT of attention but is a sweet dog. I am fostering the puppy shown in this picture and Bella has taken on the surrogate mother role with him. Bella has been spayed and is approx. 1-2 years old. She is a Dachshund mix and so doesn't have the really short legs typical of a full blooded Dachshund. I will require a home check and contract to adopt her. The re-homing cost is $50 which doesn't even begin to cover the costs for her spaying and shots. Call or text 870-634-8018 I live in N.E. Arkansas and am willing to drive up to 2 hours. (Less)

Cisco is a sweet little 9-week-old Chi-Doxie mix baby. All his brothers and sisters have been adopted and gone to their forever homes. cisco would really like a home of his own now, too. He is crate trained and working on his house training. He is very playful and loves everybody. He has had his first puppy shots and worming and is ready to meet his new family!!

|Rescue Me ID: 14-08-31-00427Dobby Bobbins (male)|
I tried to play nice and spare you the picture that earned Dobby his name, but, noooooo, you just had to push it. Since the sweet pictures of Dobby haven't moved you, I'm pulling out the big guns. That's right, that's Dobby in all his glory, standing like a strange little man/dog/elf begging for a milkbone. Now that we have your attention, please direct your eyes to the sweeter pictures of Dobby that I've posted here: http://www.adoptapet.com/pet/11441282-little-rock-arkansas-miniature-pinscher-mix This gentle, polite, good-natured, little boy is fully grown at 19 lbs. Our best guess is that Dobby is a Min Pin or Manchester Terrier / Dachshund mix and that he is probably around 2 years old. Dobby gets along with everybody. While he enjoys a good romp with his foster sibs, his absolute fav is curling up next to a warm human and snoozing through the night. He is housetrained, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. To apply for this wonderful dog, please submit an application via Out of the Woods Rescue: http://www.ootwrescue.org/adoptionprocessid47.html Adoption fee of $150 will help offset vet costs. Transport can be arranged for an additional $175. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions. (Less)

Dachshund Dogs can make good pets in Arkansas if they match your IifestyIe. The Dachshund is a long, short-legged dog with a temperament similar to that of a terrier. Dachshunds are cheeky, playful, mischievous, and resistant to training or discipline. Dachshunds do well with older children. Dachshunds are well suited to apartment life but need exercise, and it is important that they not be overfed as this breed is prone to weight gain.
